In this project completed in 2020, we designed and commissioned a 15kVA industrial UPS system for a telecom company in Iran.
The telecommunications sector is by nature the most sensitive to electrical noise and power continuity. Using 12-pulse technology, we reduced input harmonic levels to minimize data loss and signal distortion, while addressing system efficiency issues such as overheating, noise, and power factor.
The system's input, output, and battery lines were made fully observable via analog measuring instruments. RS485 communication was implemented to minimize signal noise. A bypass transformer option was used to fully isolate the system from the grid. Fault traceability was ensured through 15 distinct alarm features.
