In this project successfully completed in 2023 in Indonesia, we designed and manufactured a 110VDC 60A Industrial Parallel Redundant Rectifier System for the uninterrupted power supply of railway switch motors, one of the most critical components of the railway transportation line.
Switch change mechanisms in rail systems must operate with zero tolerance to ensure travel safety and uninterrupted line flow. An advanced architecture consisting of 4 rectifier units in total was established to completely eliminate possible failure risks and ensure the system continues to operate even in extraordinary circumstances.
The system shares the load in a balanced manner with 2 active parallel operating units, while guaranteeing full safety with 2 redundant units. In the event of a fault in one of the active units, the backup systems take over within milliseconds without any interruption. This redundant architecture minimizes fault management on the railway line and delivers maximum line safety.
